- Velcro chest tab with concealed top for rank slide.
- Fold down collar that can also be worn up and fastened with a velcro tab.
- 2 large vertical chest pockets with velcro fastening.
- 1 small pocket and 1 pen pocket inside chest pockets.
- Sleeves have angled pockets with velcro closure flap and velcro backing sections to attach badges.
- Forearm has two smaller velcro pockets.
- Button wrist adjusters.
- A slightly lighter weight fabric than the 'Temperate' weather version for use in warmer climates.
- The insect repellent treatment (based on Permethrin) is durable to washing and will last at least 50 washes in a washing machine (the treatment is effective on the clothing but for full protection insect repellent must be applied to bare skin).
- IRR (Infra-Red Reflecting) material.

- The PCS combat shirt is a more generous fit than the CS95 combat shirt to allow easier movement when worn over other clothing layers.
